- Trust Us..."we're here to help"... the phrase from government agencies around the globe that ought to instill fear in every living soul.
- No, really...trust us, it's for your own good.
- Brief History...of a sword of evil in our midst.
Hold On Shawn Vint
There is an urgency which can almost be felt, coming from those of the New World Order...the Glenn Beck types...seductively speaking words of hope while furthering an evil cause. That urgency should give us pause, and should serve as a warning shot past our bow.
There is both good and bad news in that warning shot. The bad news is that when the darkness of evil has the light of truth shone upon it, evil lashes out. The good news is that the light of truth IS shining on the evil among us, with millions of individuals learning the truth through the hard work of patriots, freedom lovers, and most importantly the powerful, invisible hand of God.
Find your purpose.
Be unafraid to speak the truth.
Read the Bible, so that you can be certain of your future and the rightness of the cause. |

- California...can't make the necessary budget cuts because of
payoffs campaign contribution obligations to various interest groups rather than the PEOPLE of California as a whole. Unless Washington adds to another long string of bailouts (of course relying on the same PEOPLE that no one seems to represent to do so) then California WILL default.
- Job Losses...in the U.S, 25% higher than forecast for June, in a further dismissal of 'green shoots'
- Cynthia McKinney...detained, held, arrested...choose your definition of it...by Israel in international waters and trying to break the appalling and inhuman seige of Gaza.
- U.S Soldier Captured...just outside one of the new U.S airbases along the Iraq/Iran border, in what is being described as a 'ring of steel' around Iran.
- Forward Operating Hospital...going to Iraq, as U.S troops in Iraq leave the dangerous city environment...Forward Operating Hospitals (what used to be called M.A.S.H units) are usually the last to be deployed before any major battle, so unless there is a large battle anticipated this is highly unusual.
- More Control...a good 4 minute video of White House Press secretary trying, and failing, to explain why Obama's 'town hall' questions are all known in advance and 'pre-packaged'. A truly sad state of affairs...and just a fraction of what I fear is coming.
Dominos Shawn Vint
The dominos are falling, as green shoots in the economy wither and turn brown, and soft revolutions serve their purpose regardless of whether or not they 'succeed'.
In failing to propel Moussavi to victory, the U.S has accomplished the mission of casting doubt on the legitimacy of the election and toppled a domino in the Middle East. Now, when the inevitable strike against Iran comes, enough Iranians will have doubts about the veracity of the election results that many in Iran will not rally around Ahmadinejad when the inevitable strike against the Revolutionary Guard and nuclear facilities comes, and the U.S will have a 'president in waiting' with Moussavi. The forward operating hospital going to Iraq makes sense when regarded in light of the coming hostilities.
The economy is still crumbling...unless you've been watching CNBC where apparently to them....all's good, as they've made their monthly 'the bottom has finally been reached' call.
Keep your eyes open, and watch the dominos...they are beginning to fall fast and furious.

Freedom by Shawn Vint
It is July 1st...Canada Day for our family and millions of fellow patriots. In a few more days, a group of patriots to the south will be celebrating their Independence Day, July 4th.
What are we celebrating, excactly?
These two once free nations, once beacons of liberty for the oppressed everywhere, are under seige from within. The enemy has snuck through our gates, unannounced, and has made a mockery of the freedoms we are still celebrating, but which we have already largely given up.
There is still time to re-capture the ground that has already been overrun...but not much.
Once the tipping point of that day is reached and tyranny takes off the mask under which it is now hiding, it will be a different world...where patriots will be regarded as terrorists...and where instead of celebrating freedoms, we will be reduced to remembering them.

Our Own Good
Shawn Vint
30/06/2009
- The New World...harsher, less caring, more controlled. This is the world brought about by a 'War on terror', and the police state that it spawns...where everyone is watched, so it's safer to just not get involved...you know...mind my own business...I've got my own worries. Until something happens to me?
- Control...is absolutely vital to tyranny. Tracking where you are, what you are doing, and especially what you are saying will be marketed to us in another 'for our own good' campaign.
- Soaring...death rate from A(H1N1) in Argentina, the Southern Hemisphere breeding and morphing ground for the virus during their winter months. Just one more in a series of events to make sure we look towards government to help us 'for our own good'. Mandatory vaccine, anyone?
Our Own Good Shawn Vint
Being human, we have enough difficulty attempting to make choices and decisions that will be for our own good. The belief that other humans are able to determine what actions we should or should not take, not knowing our hopes, our dreams or our God given purpose, is absurd.
Yet that is where we find ourselves, having been conditioned that we are not capable of choosing the path that leads to our own destiny.
Don't believe it for a second.
God has given you freedoms that no government and no man can take away. You can agree to give those freedoms away, but the fault for that will be entirely your own.
Decide what you will do now, before you are given the test.

Awkward Moments
Shawn Vint
29/06/2009
- Bernanke...has been wrong in every prediction, flawed in each analysis, harmful in the approach...but likely to be appointed a second term.
- Israel...readies fleet of F-15's for long range attack with more sophisticated armament hardware.
- U.S... tests new ICBM, firing 4,200 miles into the Pacific.
- Global...government. The U.S takes a GIANT step toward world government with a 'climate bill' giving extremely intrusive powers to Federal Gov't, and U.S tax dollars to Europe.
Awkward Moments Shawn Vint
This is an awkward moment for the globalists, a truly evil few who make the most villainous of Hollywood characters look pleasant in comparison. Who are 'the globalists', you ask? Centered in Europe with Israeli, North American and Australian participants as well, they are composed primarily within the following...Bilderberg Group, Council on Foreign Relations, Trilateral Commission, AIPAC and a sprinkling of others. They are all worth a search.
This is an awkward time for them because they are not unopposed. Certainly even within their respective nations, freedom loving individuals and families are opposed to what can only be classified as a power and money grab of epic proportions.
Globally as well their is significant resistance. The Chinese and Russians for example, while not the best of friends, will combine efforts to prevent European/Western interests from trying to create a global government of which they would have no significant standing.
The Middle East is caught in their own awkward position, as Middle Eastern country's have a tenuous relationship with these two deadly competing entities, somewhat akin to a lamb trying to prepare a meal of veggies between two wolves.
This power struggle is playing out before our eyes. The economic collapse we are witnessing is part of it. Keep researching...keep putting the jigsaw pieces together. They all fit.

Fear and Hope

Fear and Hope by Shawn Vint
Life has always been, under the surface, a mixture of fear and hope. Thankfully for our generation and for most of the individuals reading this blog, hope has won. The pendulum is swinging back however, and I'm afraid we've done the next generation no favour by trying to pretend that life will always be a party.
Yet, when speaking to most in the 'under 30' crowd, the fear side of the equation is non-existent. We have succeeded in dumbing down an entire generation.
Healthy fear, wariness perhaps being the better word, ought to be embraced. It is how generations previous have moved forward in their understanding of the world around them, so that hope could prevail for their children. Only through observing, learning, and questioning the prevalent thinking of the day can this occur.
Today, we have raised a generation that don't want to know about the past...in their own minds at least, they 'get it now', and their is nothing to learn from the past.
'We' won't ever have another depression...today's economists get it now.
'We' won't ever suffer another global pandemic, of any sort...science gets it now.
Governments will never be a source of tyranny in our small corner of the world...the people get it now.
Trust is a valuable commodity and should never be overlooked. Similarly, a healthy questioning of your small corner of the globe in relation to the world around you is also healthy.
The biggest fear today should not be swine flu, or the economy, or any other circumstance that we face. Our biggest fear ought to be for our children, and our children's children, as the party continues unabated until it is too late.

Inventory

Inventory Shawn Vint
It's time to take inventory...a detailed accounting of where you find yourself spiritually, physically, emotionally, financially, and logistically. The process is important, providing us with a 'You Are Here' point on the map of life, a kind of snapshot that we ought to take periodically so we don't wander aimlessly or backtrack across routes already traversed.
In normal times, when to take this periodic inventory of self would be a personal decision based on your circumstances and life situations. These times are not normal, nor the circumstances entirely of your own making, but sticking our respective heads in the sand as the world devolves around us will not change them.
Taking inventory spiritually is the starting point, because we are created by God as primarily spiritual in nature. Recognizing and accepting that fact is the first and most important step in the entire inventory process. It is also the most freeing...spiritual awakening helps us to see that the continuous striving for things material is a futile and senseless path.
If you've been following along, it is understood that we are at a tipping point of epic proportions. History provides us with very clear clues as to what we can expect to occur on the globe, including further loss of God given freedoms. Your physical well being is crucial to your withstanding difficult times. Think of this time as a sort of 'boot camp' for your future. Make better nutrition choices every day, and begin a progressive training program that will increase your core strength and improve your stamina for when you'll need it. Begin this step now.
Emotionally, begin to prepare yourself for events you may never have thought possible...job loss or layoff, scarcity of food in stores, societal breakdown either slow or sudden, situations requiring protection of life and property. These are events that need to be thought about so that IF they happen, you will be able to function emotionally without breakdown.
Financially, try as best you can to remove yourself from debt. Make hard choices...now. Look at everything on the budget, and make cuts to everything except what good preparedness folk call 'beans, bullets, and band-aid' items.
Logistically, put aside at least 1 month, better yet 2-6 months or more, of essential supplies. Think about worse case...what if the water and power are off for a month? What if store shelves are empty? What if all communications that we normally rely on are shut down? Think about items like battery operated shortwave radio sets, which in the event of a 'real emergency', may be your only connection to the outside world, giving you advance notice of any threat, and allowing you to begin communication with other good, freedom loving people.
Don't just think about these things.

Paint! by Shawn Vint
The name of this blog and this website says, and means, a lot to me. As have many of you, life has thrown me a few curveballs that I've failed to see coming. I've also made some choices that, had I the ability for a 'do-over', I most certainly would.
But...here we stand. Behind us, a canvas covered in the grime of those poor choices and less than stellar circumstance...ahead, a clean sheet upon which we have the ability to paint a picture of our choosing.
Just as we are about to begin painting this new picture, however, we see ominous storm clouds gathering. The wind is picking up and a few squalls have already blown through, but the hurricane we face is still ahead, making painting difficult. We are tempted to pack up our canvas and our paints, waiting for a clearer, better day to begin.
We do not have that option.
We stand on a threshold where goodness and evil are colliding, where the lines between each have become blurred if you choose to believe those whose interests lie not in your well-being, but theirs.
Those who have solidly chosen to be on the side of evil want you to paint their picture, or better still, pack up and go home.
You have been chosen to live in such a time as this.
Think independently. Think differntly than you have been conditioned to by governments and a co-operative media who have chosen the wrong side.
Goodness needs you. Goodness is calling you.
Paint!
